| Description | The partical least squares method has wide applicability in cases, where there are more variables than samples in the data set, so it is not possible to apply the standard least quares method. Aim of the diploma thesis is to study particularly the application potential of the mentioned method and demonstrate it with concrete data sets using the statistical software R. |
