Name Outlier detection for distributional data
Type Master
Status Not assigned
Description

Outlier detection is one of the basic tasks of exploratory statistical analysis. This is the case also if these data are distributions (e.g., income distributions in different regions of a given country), most often described by probability density functions. The aim of the diploma thesis is to expore the current state of knowledge in this field, ev. propose own innovative procedures, and apply them to real data.
