Analysis of Raman Spectroscopic Data

The aim of the thesis is to become familiar with the principles of Raman spectroscopy and the structure of data obtained from this technique. The student will perform preprocessing of selected Raman spectra using appropriate methods for background correction, smoothing, and normalization. Subsequently, a classification model will be developed and validated to distinguish between samples based on their spectral characteristics. The results will be evaluated in terms of model accuracy and interpretability.
