In 1948, the first study program of Natural Science was established at the Philosophical Faculty of our University. Two years later, the Department of mathematics, physics, and chemistry was founded. The Faculty of Science was establised in 1962 and in 1996 our department changed its name to its current form: The Department of mathematical analysis and applications of mathematics.
Our department guarantees several study branches of bachelor, master, and doctor studies. For the list of programs, click here.
